Southern Landscape Materials is locally owned and operated by CJ Watts. This location served as a home to a previous business at which CJ worked for over eight years, working his way up. He gained experience operating heavy equipment, as well as installation of landscaping materials. CJ managed the previous business for several years prior to taking over the location and opening his own business late 2025, now known as Southern Landscape Materials, LLC. CJ leads the daily operations with the same commitment to quality and service that customers have come to expect from him.

Southern Landscape Materials is family owned and operated as CJ made the decision to bring on his mom, Teresa. She provides financial and administrative oversight, payroll, and operations support. Together, they combine hands-on experience and business management to keep the company strong and growing.

Teresa is a devoted mom and Mimi whose drive and determination extend far beyond the home. Never one to shy away from hard work, she enjoys yard projects, driving a tractor, and even managed the construction of her family’s home from the ground up. With a Doctorate in Nursing and a strong background in office management, Teresa brings intelligence, organization, and grit to everything she takes on. She gives all credit for her life’s blessings to the Lord, whose guidance and grace continue to shape her journey.
